Grace & Brian.
Brighton started where a lot of great Austin things start — a court, a couple, and the unshakeable feeling that this is too fun to keep to ourselves.
Brian played college tennis. Grace, in her own words, joined for the outfits. One afternoon he finally got her on the court. She was terrible. She had the time of her life. They started bringing the girlfriends out for drills, ended every session with drinks, and a weekly excuse to hang out quietly turned into a community.
Grace's girlfriends kept showing up. Laughing harder, staying longer, asking when the next session was. Watching them, we realized Austin didn't actually have a club like this — somewhere a woman could just show up, learn the sport, and find her people. So we built one.
